How we got started
My name is Danielle and a few years ago I took a trip to Uganda, Africa where my passion began to give in a creative way to children who needed assistance. While in Africa, I was fortunate enough to visit many orphanages and see how the needs of many children can be met. So many orphans who need the help of those who have been blessed with much. The weight the stories told and the reality of these children’s' lives has left a deep impression on mine. I didn’t want to return to my comfortable home, post pictures and blogs and go back to normal life forgetting what I had seen. I thought about the passage Mark 8:2 where Jesus said, “I have compassion for these people; they have already been with me three days and have nothing to eat.” Having compassion meaning “a feeling of deep sympathy for another who is stricken by misfortune, accompanied by a strong desire to alleviate the suffering.”
As I left Africa that week, I began to brainstorm. FashionEastA is the result of those efforts. Our efforts are now expanding from children in poverty, to also children recused from abuse and injustice.
FashionEastA is a trendy new fashion consulting service fueled by a desire to make a difference not only in the lives of children in Africa, but those all over the world suffering from poverty or injustice. 20% of all proceeds from each appoitment go directly to support those who need help either for food, schooling or healing.
During each consultation, I will create a new cliché style that defines you, as we evaluate your current wardrobe. If you desire further guidance outside of your current wardrobe, shopping consultations are available as well. I have been studying fashion and style for years and have traveled to different shows all over the country. I work hard at making sure the most current look and propert fit is available for your needs.
So whether you need a hand creating new combinations from your current clothing or a full fashion shopping makeover, I am here to help! Please partner with me to make a difference in the lives of these children.
